Its called SSC Ultimate Aero and tested in Wind Tunnels and Dyno not on the road , and the Koenigsegg CCGT is for the FIA GT1 Series and Performance not for High Speeds. And my opinion is that the SSC is a Lamborghini Diablo look a like design with miner changes here and there on the car. So that tells me that Lamborghini could of done this if they wanted 1200hp.

Wrong - if this is the case then i will also share a piece of my mind with you. Recently crazy nutt took it over 249MPH! The McLaren Is so well engineered that if its RPM was increased to that of a veyron, if you do ur mathematics, then it would go well over 300MPH. Its all because of those people who built this amazing legendary car and ended up as a masterpiece of engineering but the thing is that people say that McLaren is no longer the same. For Me It Was, It Is & Will Be. No Lambo can do it

Actually, NERV, it's called the SSC Ultimate Aero. And it WAS tested on the open road where it achieved the speed record. There is video of it up here on YouTube.

OH, and it's not a Diablo look-a-like in the least bit. It's body more closely resembles the Saleen S7 than a Lamborghini of any sort.

273.5 mph? I thought it was more like 256 mph? it's a biiig difference between talking about what it's CAPABLE of doing and how fast it actually has gone. it has the world record but when koenigseggs ccxr edition, (410+km/h) which actually looks good, is beeing top speed tested i believe the ssc will become second place. and the worst part is that it's not even worthy of that. looks too cheap and i really doubt about the quality and engineering.
