You dont need to "Warm up" Street tires. If you drive on them to the track, chances are you dont need to put heat in them. All the burnout is doing is burning down the tire.

Wow ignorant,,, A drag radial needs warm up ,, it makes them more sticky also a good burnout cleans dirt and grime off the tire.

that selby is probably stock which only pushes out bouut 450 horsepower not 500 any that svt has probably been round long enough to punch it up another 150-200 horsepower more in the shop. a friend of mine had a 600 horsepower svt monster that didnt stop wth a hugh supercharger and a shot of nos or 2. maby the shelby had a better chance if he heated up his tires like the svt did.

you should see it now. it runs 7.7's in the eighth and 12.1's in the quarter. in a month or so, a kenne bell 2.6 is replacing the stock eaton.

sorry, i told you wrong. i got a little mix up. the kenne bell will take the boost from 14lbs to above 20lbs.
