the CAR is green; maybe the power plant isn't, but U wouldn't be driving the power plant. the car also runs on electricity produced without the use of fossil fuels. what we should do is pressure the power companies to produced less polluting power.

Tesla is a great achievement and a push forward for a whole industry. Although in just a decade, such as it is now, it might be remembered as an interesting step in history.

the difference in the mpc 250 -200 is based on how the driver uses the car... a harder driver like myself will get less per charge just like a gas powered engine tesla is only starting out with this car to prove a point - ev's can be sexy cool - and to attract investors - they also have the whitestar, a 60k sedan and a 30k family car in the works tesla is not fast? 0-60 in 4 is not fast?

lightning gt costs like $250K, and tesla goes for around $100K... but GT recharges in about 10minutes, and can make wicked *fake*engine sounds through speakers tesla trumps GT
