Wrong. Both the SRT-10 and the ACR have a higher skidpad rating than the Z06. The only difference between the ACR and the SRT-10 is weight reduction, tweaked aerodynamics, and suspension tuning, and it'll do the Nurburgring in 7:22.... faster than the Z06 by twenty seconds, and faster than the ZR1 by four.

okay well if you add a weight reduction, tweak the aerodynamics and tune the suspension on the ZR1 then i am sure that the Zr1 would eat the viper alive. i am a viper fan but come on think a little bit.

The ZR-1 is lighter than the ACR. It also produces more hp. Isn't the suspension on the ZR-1 adjustable as well?

are you being sarcastic? the viper and corvette offer outstanding performance for their price and handle very well in corners, they aren't really as refined as say a ferrari or bmw but they work very well and for about 20,000 dollars above sticker price they have both set record lap times on the ring against european machines costing about 5-8 times as much

i agree but the reason the viper isn't populer cuase it's very bad on corners, the vette always comes up with something faster like the z06 and the vette costs 20 grand less than the viper.......trust me, i would take that red viper/srt10 over jessica simpson, but if i can't afford it, and can afford the standard corvette than i would go for the corvette, but all i can afford is a mustang right now, and that's prob. all i can afford for a long time...FORD GT is a different story( my dream car)

Just to let you know, the 2008 Viper is the best handling version and is still the best buy.And what the hell give me proof that the Viper is a shitty handler.The Viper ACR only has downforce upgrades and suspension tuning and it beat the Europeans in their home turf: The Nurburgring.The Viper is good in direction my ass!

I meant the Viper is good only in one direction my ass.The viper is very good at corners now.

I wouldn't have put the now at the end. It has always been able to corner well. It's just a little more wild with the older ones.
