Are u changing the subject? Please atleast stay on my subject of WHEN the LIGHT said the GTR should shift.. hello Ohh and if you havent relized i was joking about the V-Spec, the ZR-1 dominates that too. Its okay i drive a infiniti but that doesn't mean im gonna hate on the Zr-1 • Krazykastrati on 08-Jan-09 Check your prices before you post. 58k for the M3 coupe with no options (you can make it a 70k car pretty easily with options - and that's just the coupe) 106k for the zr1, every option will make it 115k. Either way, no one said that factory speed was cheap nor is exclusivity • xxMBH427xx on 08-Jan-09 The ZR1 is significantly more expensive than the M3. M3's start at around 54,000. That Vette starts at 115,000. I'd say that the M3 is a way better deal than the ZR1 at those prices. • nigh7dag on 08-Jan-09 Guys, Make sure you clicking on 5 star! I test drive zo6 and wow! I never ever feel something like this! Even M3 can't dream that much power! which both are around same price. But 1 thing i respect and that is BMW M3 HANDLING! ;) • hassan0098 on 08-Jan-09 well shifting at lower RPMs doesnt change how fast the car will top out in gear. • donisthabomb1 on 08-Jan-09 The ZR1 seems like it should be capable of running faster. The driver is shifting at only 4,300-4,500 rpm, awfully low, the car has at least another 2,000 rpm in each gear. When they tested the 599, GTR and GT2 they shifted well above 6,000 rpm. • oryxgto on 08-Jan-09 yeah i know weather conditions effect it, but there have been multiple test of the zr1 that cant go over 205mph. i've seen 200.4, 204 and 2005. plus even if u modd it, it will run out of gear at 210mph. there are cars with less hp that can go faster. • donisthabomb1 on 08-Jan-09 Also take into consideration during the test conditions weren't ideal? a 5mph headwind can easily kill 20mph on the top end. Meanwhile only help you 5mph higher when it's a tailwind. • SpecialKLSX on 08-Jan-09 is anybody here not impressed with a 638hp car weighing only 3000 lbs not able to go any faster? i mean there are a handful of european cars that have WAY passed the 200mph mark. • donisthabomb1 on 08-Jan-09 I'm not taking sides, but even though the v-spec can't compete with the zr1's higher speeds, won't it still perform just as well at lower speeds? That's what I thought at least. • ovkenike on 08-Jan-09 |
