the engine nowdays is stuffed with german made parts ,equals very high quality so the engine is no problem.they have more problem with the sound from it in the cockpit like tinnitus after a while,but who cares

The engine has never been a problem. It is a supercar, so of course it is loud.

this depresses me - i will never own 1 - unless i get a 800 000 mortgage and sleep in the boot every night

the design is ok but i dont think the engine is that good. u will probably have a lot of prolems because it is very high turbocharged. it will probably stay longer in the garage repairing it than it will drive on the street.

They were notorious with having problems when they still used Ford engines (no surprise there). But since the CCR (i think, if not then the CCX) they use their own engine and reliability is dramatically improved.
