I've got the Mk2 and I'll tell you something. It's AWESOME!!!! If you're ever gonna get a car get this , it's relatively cheap, it's easy to drive and it looks really cool. xD

amen. I went to an auto show yesterday and got to finally see one up close and from inside (they arent that common to find here in New England). I must say I was really impressed and I'm thinking about getting one. Nevermind what others think about the car, its what you think about it. I used to own an old Corolla back in high school and I loved it to death, even though my friends often pointed out it was just an econobox.

I think most MX5-drivers are men. It's a classic, simple, cheap and reliable british roadster. What more could a man want? A different badge on the front, yes. But that would also add to the price and most likely also make reliability suffer. Though putting a hard top on a mx-5 isn't a good idea in my opinion. It should be kept simple.
