If you check the website, Tesla Motors has said they are using the Roadster as a "proof of concept" and a fund-generator, and they will be producing a four seater family sedan at almost half the cost of the Roadster. Research wins again.

Definitively I am charmed with this car, but they should consider use batteries of polymer of lithium, this way the capacity of load would be very much major, in addition to place an electrical engine of major efficiency to compensate, Tesla Motors brings from 200 to 400 horsepowers over it would be ideal for the suggested price. I think it's funny when people think they have ideas that very smart engineers would never have thought of. frohwrx, I'm sure the engineers that made this car considered all forms of performance/availability/cost/reliability when making the car. Also, this car wasn't made to be an efficient slow car. This was made to be a sports car. That's like saying the Corvette should use a 4 cylinder motor to be more fuel efficient.
